Für die Einstellung ausländischer IT-Fachkräfte gibt es eine Sonderregelung. Demnach können Bewerberinnen und Bewerber aus Drittstaaten die Zustimmung zur Beschäftigung durch die BA im IT-Bereich erhalten, ohne dass eine formale Anerkennung ihrer Qualifikation durch eine zuständige Anerkennungsstelle in Deutschland erforderlich ist (§ 19c Abs. 2 i. V. m. § 6 BeschV).

Special case: employment of IT specialists with practical occupational experience from third countries

There is a special rule governing the recruitment of foreign IT specialists. According to this, applicants from third countries can be granted approval for employment in the IT sector by the BA without the need for formal recognition of their qualifications by a recognition body in Germany (Section 19c(2) in conjunction with Section 6 Ordinance on the Employment of Foreigners).
